Anthony Ascue- Ward 7

Meet Anthony Ascue– Your A Better Calgary Party Candidate for Ward 7

My name is Anthony Ascue, and I am honoured and humbled to be A Better Calgary Party's candidate for Ward 7.

Ward 7 is very important to me and my business. As an entrepreneur whose company services multiple buildings and companies in Ward 7. I understand that the success, safety, and development of the Ward greatly impacts not only my livelihood, but the livelihood of every single business owner and family that resides in that Ward. I am fiercely passionate about helping the families and businesses in our community live their best and most successful lives. For too long, City Hall has not had your best interest at heart, and the result is an alarming crime rate, misappropriated funds, businesses closing down, and terribly managed bike lanes that continually clog major traffic arteries. Enough is enough, and it's time for a change.

As a local small business owner myself, who has a decade-plus experience dealing and negotiating with contractors and businesses, I know what it takes to get a deal done. I am proud to be your voice in Ward 7 and will fight relentlessly to ensure that we keep our communities safe, our budgets responsibly balanced, our infrastructure repaired, and our businesses thriving.

I want the hard-working people of Ward 7 to have every opportunity to succeed in life. To be safe, to be prosperous, and to be happy with the results that A Better Calgary Party will provide for them.

I am running for City Council because I believe Ward 7 deserves better. I believe you and your family deserve better. I am not doing this because I want a job in politics; I am doing this because I am tired of the politics. I am doing this because like you, I do not have confidence in our current leadership. I do not believe they are making our streets safe. I do not believe they are spending our hard-earned tax dollars on investments that actually matter and better our communities. I do not believe they are doing enough to support local businesses and business owners. And I do not believe they can change. So together, we will be that change.

This October is your opportunity to remind City Hall that your voice matters. That your safety matters. Your community matters. Your business and your family matters.

Please join the fight for Ward 7. Volunteer, donate, or just spread the word. I will be seeing you in person in the weeks to come, and I hope to earn your support.
