Meet Christy Edwards – Your A Better Calgary Party Candidate for Ward 3

My name is Christy Edwards. I’ve spent the last 20 years living, working, and volunteering in Ward 3, building connections with neighbours and supporting the causes that matter most to us.

With a career in sales, public relations, and as a small business owner, I’ve also served on various municipal, provincial, and federal boards throughout my life. These roles have given me valuable experience in governance, collaboration, and decision-making — skills I will bring to City Hall.

Though my residence is in Ward 2, my heart — and much of my time — is in Ward 3, where my parents have long been part of the community. I’ve spent countless hours here supporting local initiatives, connecting with neighbours, walking our dog, and being part of the everyday life that makes Ward 3 special.

I’m running for councillor because City Hall needs strong voices who listen to residents — not push top-down decisions like the recent blanket rezoning, which ignores community input and unique neighbourhood needs. I want to address rising costs, improve infrastructure, ensure responsible spending, and preserve the character of our neighbourhoods.

On October 20th, I ask for your vote to bring common-sense solutions and dedicated representation to Ward 3.
