A Better Calgary Party Will Repeal Blanket Upzoning

Today Candidates for A Better Calgary Party are announcing that the first item proposed by our team will be repealing the blanket rezoning brought in by the last council.

Mayor Gondek and the previous council implemented Justin Trudeau’s failed policy on blanket rezoning despite the wishes of most Calgarians.  Feedback from Calgarians was robust and overwhelmingly opposed to this horrible policy.  

“Everyday I hear from Calgarians who realize this policy will have a terrible impact on our neighborhoods, residential parking and traffic. Calgarians were overwhelmingly opposed to this type of rezoning and we will make this our first priority” said Mike Jamieson, Ward 12 Candidate for A Better Calgary Party.
